Over the course of 3 months, I will guide you through From Pain to Power to liberate anyone feeling stuck in their pain cycle; even if you have felt unsafe when exercising or moving before- all from the comfort of your own home!

Throughout the course, we will explore safe, fun movement as well as self-treatment techniques in 2 live classes each week. This consistency will facilitate strength that leaves you feeling confident and empowered to handle anything that comes your way! We will also dive into the science behind healing, recovery, and the impact your nervous system can have on your pain and well-being.

Even if you have no experience with Pilates, exercise, or fitness and have never heard of Myofascial Release you will feel liberated from the limitations you have previously felt. As a result, you will begin to live your life with resilience and ease.

I came to Sarah five years ago for MFR treatments and Pilates. At 62 years old I couldn’t walk two blocks without hip and back pain that sent me straight home. For anyone wanting to find a deeper connection to their body, what it is saying, and how to respond to its ease or discomfort, this is the class for you.

As a result of cancer treatments and some surgeries, I was left with considerable weakness and a lack of movement in my shoulders, chest, and upper back. I began working with Sarah about 3 years ago and have seen a remarkable change in my body. Along with all of the improvements, I have become more and more curious about the mind, body, and soul connection. I realized how much I didn’t understand and I wanted to know more.
Recently, Sarah offered a new program called Myofascial Movement: Online Experience. Not fully understanding where we would go or even what we would do, I was excited to experience something new and different. Sarah has never let me down or led me astray. As a twice a week, 8 weeks experience I felt the cost of joining was very reasonable.
What a wonderful experience it turned out to be! Each week, the class was deeply involved with a particular area of the body. Breath and diaphragm, the nervous system, pelvis, the spine, well you get the idea. We focused on the nature of the area and more importantly how to move, and nourish each area. Sarah taught us how to listen to what our bodies needed and then how to provide for that need. She calls it Self Treatment. What an amazing tool she has given us. Perfect for everyone, but especially for anyone suffering from chronic pain and discomfort.
My big takeaway was the power you gain in being able to listen to your body. As Sarah taught us, our minds don’t always have the right answer so we must look elsewhere. In my case, my mind is very often the culprit. I have moments of anxiety, panic, guilt and unease. All I have learned has put me on a new journey of discovery into the nervous system and how to manage its wild manner. The more you learn, the more you want to learn. A beautiful path to wander!
